pH Down pool balancer helps maintain a healthy pH level in pools to make the water safe to swim in. High pH levels in your pool mean it is too alkaline, which can cause scale buildup on the pool surface and equipment, and cloud the water.
Maintaining proper pool pH levels in pools can be a constant challenge, as levels tend to fluctuate without the proper treatment. Aside from causing scale accumulation, alkaline pH levels can also cause chlorine to be less effective against bacteria and algae. pH levels can rise for a number of reasons, and if left unchecked for too long it can be difficult to bring high pH levels back down. This sodium bisulphate solution can help restore high pH pools to a comfortable 7.2 to 7.6 level.
