Control your RCV 5 robotic vacuum remotely with the Karcher Home Robots app. This app can be used to map out cleaning zones for optimal efficiency. For wet mopping applications, be sure to fill the solution tank before deploying. After cleaning, the mop pad can be washed by machine or by hand. The removable waste container is quick and easy to empty before putting it back on the charger.
Wet Mopping & Dry Cleaning
Depending on the task at hand, this versatile unit capable of cleaning up dry debris as well as wet mopping hard floors. The wiping function can be used with the included microfibre cloth for a deeper clean. It can be set to dry cleaning only, wet mopping only, or with both options together in the combined cleaning mode. In mopping mode, carpets are automatically avoided.
LiDAR Navigation
With fast, robust LiDAR navigation, the robot scans and maps the rooms with precision, ensuring optimal cleaning efficiency. The unit also features a dual-laser sensor and camera to recognize small or flat objects that are too small for the LiDAR system to detect like shoes, socks, or cables. Obstacles are detected and incorporated into the map, the robot is then able to avoid barriers, getting stuck, and causing damage to the area.
Carpet Detection & Auto Boost
With the ability to seamlessly transition between hard surfaces and carpeted floors, the RCV 5 can cleaning your entire area without missing a step. The unit automatically detects carpets with an ultrasonic sensor. The Auto Boost function then increases the suction power on carpeted surfaces as needed for enhanced results. You can schedule cleaning times and create cleaning plans via the Karcher Home Robots app.
